It is with incredible shame and hung head that I finally get back to you about our Christmas trip! It was EXCELLENT! We loved the Little Karoo and Oudtshorn - the ostrich history and the caves were fantastic. Hanging the trip on schools made it very interesting and took us places we might not have gone otherwise. Sure we would not have gone to Grahamstown, which was really a surprise. A little too quiet for Romey to consider for school, although that is still an open option. We visited U of Port Elizabeth - no - U of Western Cape - although they had interest in Romey, she just did not feel it a fit and we agree - one more in there but I forget. Visited Addo as well. The Garden Route was marvelous - and we saw a great house in Mossel Bay!
The hotel for New Year’s was right up Romey´s alley - not ours, but so what. Our room had a great view of Table Mountain - lit up it is spectacular. Cape Town continues to be new to us - still our favorite city in the world.
